This golden ale is inspired by a classic beer recipe from Somerset. We have used Pilgrim Hops and Cascade Hops to give the Golden coloured beer a lovely, fruity aroma. Maize flakes were added to give it a smooth sweetness in contrast to the bitter hops.Please Note: There is a refundable £50 deposit on the return of the 9 Gallon Firkin barrel.
We have brewed a limited edition ale especially for Christmas. This is a traditional winter ale made with pale, crystal and chocolate malt. It has a gorgeous dark ruby colour making it rich and full of flavour. We have used pilgrim bittering hops and for added aroma cascade and pacific gem hops for a wild berry flavour. Finally we have added a hint of cinnamon to give it the flavour of Christmas.
